Independent Solicitation and Source Selection Support
STA acts as an independent advisor to program managers during the program solicitation and source selection process. In this capacity STA provides the program manager with research and analysis regarding the specific technical capabilities that will be needed by prospective bidders in order to achieve program objectives, and helps analyze the capabilities of bidders as they relate to program objectives.
"Independent Solicitation and Source Selection Support" tasks include:

Identifying and analyzing specific capabilities that will be required in order to maximize the probability of program success

Analyzing the probability that potential bidders will possess needed capabilities

Identifying and analyzing the capabilities of RFP respondents, as they relate to program objectives, including both task objectives and budgetary objectives
